Our monthly bulletins/event cards at Woodland Hills always brings a smile to my face.  Once again I can work on a layout that will communicate a month worth of events, programs, and current sermon series.  For January, my focus was on the new year!

First thought of action was to get a pile of glitter and using my macro lens (howto coming soon) I did a photo shoot, working on getting just the right angle to use for the front of the event card! What says “New Year” better than Gold and Glitter?!

After choosing the perfect photo, I then went to work with Typography, using my new found favorite font NEOU!

The best feeling is when the layout is done, I’ve just picked it up from the printers and I lay my eyes on a finished project!
