There is just something about my Family that makes me smile a little bigger!
First, let me say, I didn’t always love having three brothers, and no sisters. Before Mitch came along it was, just Austin, Garrick and I, with me, the only girl, stuck in the middle. There was a year when every night I would pray for a sister. One day, the parents sat us down to tell us we were going to have another sibling. I was overjoyed because God answered my prayers and I was going to have a sister!! (this is definitely one of those times when I was glad God didn’t answer my prayer exactly how I had prayed) Life without Mitch would be quite sad! Yes the new sibling would be, yet another, brother!
Well, 15 years later, I am proud and delighted to say I have three brothers, who I admire, look up to and LOVE dearly!! They have each taught me how to be a better person and a better girl! Not to mention, how to change my oil, how to chop wood, how to love taking adventures outside, and they have tried to teach me how to drive stick, although that ones not sticking too well!
Second – my parents! Bruce and Jenelle, these two I have taken for granted most my life. I guess, I just always thought everyone had parents like I did, little did I know, I’m the lucky one. These two are my role models!

My mom truly sacrificed her life for us, her children, her whole life. Choosing to be a stay at home mom is one of the best decision, I believe, she has made! :] The comfort in knowing she was always there and will always be there is indescribable! Not to mention, the amazing food, she can make. The Kitchen is by far the best room in our house, one because she is always in it and two because she makes the most “delish”(ious) food! It has always been a place to unwind, catch up on our day, and spend quality time together! I am blessed to have her.
My dad is MY dad! I am so thankful he made the decision to be apart of my life! My confidence in who I am and what I have to offer this world has a lot to do with him. I love the fact that I can look to him for wisdom and guidance and know that I can trust what he says because I know his foundation is Jesus Christ! He is a Great man! He has never stopped me from doing something just because I’m a girl. Growing up on a farm, he taught me a lot about working hard, not giving up, and trying to figure something out before just letting someone else do it for you.
I am thankful my parents chose to raise my brothers and I up in a Christian home, dedicated to loving and serving others. Being true and trustworthy. I look forward to one day, using their example, to raise a family of my own!
Third, My Sister!! Yes, I finally got one :] Austin’s Megan is such an amazing addition to our family. She fits perfectly and I couldn’t ask for anyone better for my big brother, who adores her! I love it when we get to see them and spend time together! It’s wonderful to have someone on my side for once!!
