Tissue PomPom Balls!

These gorgeous tissue balls are great for a quick decoration addition to any party or event! They do take some patience and time but are always a success in the end!

First you will need square tissue sheets.  Feel free to mix the colors!  The size of tissue sheet depends on the size of your pompom ball.  For one pom pom ball you will need 12 to 18 sheets of tissue.  Stack each sheet ontop of the other.

Second start to accordion fold from one side to the other.  Make about a 1.5″ size fold, every time.

Once all is folded, with a wire, fishing wire, string, etc,  tie together the tissue stack.  Anything will work, you just need to secure all the sheets together.  Feel free to leave extra wire so you can hang these once you have finished.

Once secure, round the edges with a pair of scissors.

Now comes the fun/frustrating part!  Take one sheet at a time and gently pull up.  Repeat on one side until you are halfway through the stack.  Switch sides and do the same thing.  Be sure to pull each sheet as close to the middle as possible.

Once the first side has been all separated and pulled apart, flip the pompom over and do the same thing with the back side.  Be sure not to crunch your, already fluffed, tissue paper.

Once your are finished fluffing, and getting each sheet of tissue paper exactly where you want it your pompom ball is finished and ready to be hung up!!
